The Summer Games

Let the games begin! Join 350 members of the Denver community to raise funds for Denver Urban Scholars. Challenge yourself physically, build team spirit, and interact with new faces while participating in Olympics-themed events. Each team of four to six will compete for a gold, silver, or bronze medal in a series of events. In true Olympics fashion, a medal count will determine which team will take home prizes and earn the right to call themselves the Champions!

2:00-6:30pm - Games Tournament and Side Games

6:30-7:00pm - Closing Ceremony and Medals Presentation

Tournament & Side Games

Teams compete in eight different Olympics-themed games, ranging from basketball and ping pong to human foosball and relay races. Between these fierce competitions, tasty treats and adult beverages are available for purchase, and team members and spectators can participate in fun side games like ladder ball.

Opening and Closing Ceremonies

We kick off The Summer Games with the lighting of the torch and an opening ceremony that celebrates the work of Denver Urban Scholars. During our closing ceremonies and medals presentation, we crown the victors and hand out other prizes like best team spirit and most creative team uniforms.
