Denver Urban Scholars provides life-changing opportunities for students to pursue individual pathways to career and college. We engage students at the middle school, high school and post-secondary levels, combining clinical case management, mentoring and academic support to ensure positive academic and social-emotional development of youth.
Our Pathways program serves students from 6th grade through high school graduation.
Milestones helps high school students take the next step toward leading a meaningful life. Milestones scholars benefit from one-on-one mentoring, case management, and academic support. Our mentors act as tutors, counselors, and friends for their partner scholars.
Mentors and scholars also participate in trainings and workshops to identify goals, learn important life skills, and build trust. At each school, our trained program coordinators have access to student grades, attendance records, and other information to enable ongoing support and quick intervention when needed. The combination of support from the family, mentor, program coordinator, and school staff helps keep our scholars focused and on track for success.
All of our students must attend one of our partner schools.
