Junior Workshop
On Saturday March 12th, DUS juniors and mentors gathered for an interactive workshop to help students get started on the sometimes overwhelming process of planning for the next steps after high school. We explored postsecondary options and students created new goals they can work on with either their Program Coordinator or mentor as they transition into senior year. Students and mentors also got the opportunity to hear from three panel participants as they shared their personal paths after high school and how they’ve led them to where they are today. The workshop offered students a safe environment to share their concerns for senior year and network with other students and mentors who share the same interests as them. DUS staff will continue supporting students during their senior year by offering a summer workshop and quarterly senior groups for students and mentors.
